Carbon fiber version of GTS-R front splitter

Everyone,

What do you think of this?

It is mounted to a damaged GTS front bumper assembly and is still wrapped in a protective plastic, but you can get an idea of the shape (ignore the Corvette in the background):

Bumper ouch!!!!!!! But spliter looks good and like it will do the job. How do you think it will be effected by everyday driving? Curb damage?

Yes, the front bumper was the result of someone rear-ending a truck....my Viper tech was gracious enough to allow me to use this as a fixture for my projects, one of which is this front splitter.

Actually, this front splitter mounts to the chin of the front bumper and actually protects the bottom of the bumper from scrapping. I used the same carbon fiber to make the side splitters on my car and I have curbed it once and didn't have any damage to the carbon fiber.

Once mounted, you would probably have to take some care going up steep driveways, but no more than usual to avoid scrapping the stock front bumpers.

change the exposure setting on your digital camera. move up maybe 2 notches. might also change the white setting also. will make picutes easier to see.
