Next week I will install my 2,5" high flow cats. I will delete the primary cats and install a HDD Flexpipe with 3" inlet and 3" outlet. Then I plan to bolt on a 3" to 2,5" reducer to the flexpipe. On the Reducer I will bolt on the 2,5" high flow cats, which I have bought a time ago. Then I will bolt on a 2,5" pipe between the cats and my still installed 2,5" Corsa Track exhaust. I doesn´t like to weld anything. Now I´d like to know, if the stock pipes of the viper (3" and 2,5") have this diameter on the inside or the outside of the pipes.

I thought the factory 2.5" cats were high flow already....???

The factory mufflers are 2-1/2" ID, they take a 2-1/2" OD pipe, and the secondary cat is 2-1/2" OD. The crossover pipe is also 2-1/2" ID.

I don't know about this, but for the term "High-flow cat" is an oxymoron...

Cats are a performance killer.

Yeah, they should be called "higher flow" cats.
