I owe you guys alot.
I still have a few "loose" ends to tie. Then after DMV inspection, I want to hook up with the central FL gang.
I have made alot of upgrades/modifications based on your posts. I hate to say it, but this would have been just a "plain" viper without the VCA.
THANKS

That's a fine track car you have there. Sign up for Viper Days at Sebring April 30 - May 1.

We also have several other things going on.
12 Hours of Sebring March 18-19.
St Pete GP Apr 1-3.

Wow, you did a GREAT job!! Looks good! One question though, is there an engine in it? That front looks really high.

Looks pretty good after he got all that blood washed off!

Fantastic job -- it'll mean more to you this way than if you had walked right in and bought it off the lot. We've lost a few blue and whites over the years so its good to restock a little!

Sorry,
What happened was I bought this car from dealer/auction as a wreck. Always wanted a GTS and I have a thing for B/W. This car had a few upgrades:
-CCW chrome and straighten wheels
-drilled/slotted rotors
-Kuhmo's sticky in back/reg in front
-stage 2 ported heads and port match intake(local head guru)
-corsa with random techs
-gen 3 foglight conversion
-clear corners/chrome side emblems
-14 MONTHS of fun and challenging VIPER restoration with a ton of help/support from you guys

That is truely a beautiful job. I always love seeing cars come back from the dead...

Two questions -
1) Did you profit from rebuilding - ie would it have been cheaper to buy straight and upgrade from there or did you get ahead of the game going this route?

2) Are my eyes just messing with me or is there excess space above those front wheels? It looks to me like you don't have a motor in there but I can't be sure if its the 17" wheels, the angle of the driveway, or the car is actually an inch higher than stock...

Viper looks great!

You missed the first meeting of the year was last Saturday at the Outback in Lakeland. Next function is like Chuck said Viper days in Sebring.

Look forward to seeing you at the next meeting,

Awesome job! Congrats. The B/W combo is sure to go down in history as not only one of the highest production number Vipers produced but also highest average resale. Awesome combo and only 96/97. Maybe an 06 as a new coupe too?

B/W is one of the best looking Vipers, ever. 2nd only to YELLOW. :2tu:

Amazing job! :2tu:

Brings up an interesting topic; is there any way to tie a specific VIN to it's original color from the factory?

To answer a few ? ? ?

Title will say rebuilt....Okay to me, because I'm keeping her.

Investment probably 35K. Keep in mind that I did the work myself(except frame alignment/head porting) and got alot of great prices from fellow Viper owners

As far as factory VIN going back to paint color. good question. I know the paint code is on driver's door

ride height, seems high, hope it settles, it has been on jackstands for awhile.
Thank you for all of the support. I hope I can return the favor to you all.

Ride height may be due to tightening the shock mounts with the suspension unloaded. The mounts bind and should be tightened in the loaded (design height) position.
