cooling fan on constant

any ideas ?? my 99 gts cooling fan is on constant . turn the ignition on and the fan runs. it has done this since i purchased it second hand 3 years ago. will this cause problems and how can i put it back the way it was designed. cheers

Guess I'd try swapping out the low and high speed relays (same relay as starter)...all found in the small square box in front of the large fuse/relay box. Along the way I'd look for signs of re-wiring in case a previous owner lived in a hot climate and wanted fans on all or the time. If A/C is on, fans will be on as well.
