Corvette Car Show Winners

This will be my first attempt at a picture.

The old gray LND RKT took home a first place trophy from the 7th Annual Lake Superior Corvette Club Classic Car Show which was held a couple weeks ago.

OK, so we weren't in direct competition with the Vettes. They were all in their own class -- probably 35 or so. 60's models took both their trophys. Our class was the 1980-2004 Contemporary Modified, Special Interest & Kit Cars. This is our 4th time in this show. Two 1sts and one 2nd. Only car show registrants can vote. It is held in conjunction with the Seafood Fest here. Nice little show---about 140 cars, lots of food/drink, and live music all day long. It's the only show we get in where we hang out for the entire day.

We are off to Madison tomorrow and on to Saint Louis Friday morning. Looks like a great weekend of weather there.
