Just thought it was funny.. the guy in the office next to me is a Corvette guy and always shows me the Viper comments in his magazines...

This one is from "Corvette Magazine": "The second-gen Viper launched in MY '03..."

Hahaha sure if you look at the models the SRT might seem like a 2nd Gen car, but anyone that knows anything about the cars know when the Gen2's came out... so if they dont know much about the cars, how can they write such an article?

What really ***** for them is that in the end it is and always will be "Just another Corvette" ! You know how many old women i see at the grocery store with them? It's ridiculous. I can almost count as many Vettes as i can Honda Civics on any given highway lol!

When the SRT was being talked about before production PVO (their name at that time) usually referred to it as Chapter II, indicating to them it was the second chapter or generation. But the Viper public was way too strong in their use of Gen II, thus the Gen III label eventually stuck.
