Cracked cross drilled front rotors ...

I have installed a set of cross drilled Baer Eradi Speed rotors in April. Since I only drove 4000mi and they are now cracked. I really didn't abuse them. I was making a ride with a 8 old kid (his father gave me precise instruction to go slowly) when I left the hwy I wanted to stop and got a bad surprise. Big noice and nearly no power to stop.

Are cross drilled rotors dangerous on very high speed cars ? Around 200mph I think the rotors must be rock solid.

StopTech or Brambo rotor will also crack ?


Any way stay away from BAER SPEED ROTORS.

Been discussed. Last thought was if the holes are cast in the rotor it's ok, but if they are drilled they crack.

Can't say I have any experience with either. Mine are slotted.
