I installed a Crower cam in my Gen 1 along with some
other engine mods. It was way out of spec the first
time I degreed it. Had the sprocket machined for an
offset bushing and had to use an 8 degree bushing to
even get close. The cam calls for an intake centerline of 110
degrees. I can only get to 104 degrees. How serious is this?
Should I go ahead and let it go at 104?? Any comments or
suggestions would sure be appreciated. Thanks.

your 8 degree bushing is not going to do it,and 104 degrees definetely wont cut it,you need to scrap the centerline method as it is not as accurate as .050" method, centerline assumes that your cam is symmetrical in order to find your threoretical center line, when in fact most modern custom ground cams are not. With the .050" lift method you will also be able to verify your cams duration, done correctly i think you will find you end up right on the money as there is a lot of power to be gained or lost by correctly degreeing your cam,1 or poss. 2 degrees off is acceptable anything more is asking for trouble,Good luck
