With the help of Mark at Woodhouse there is now a way to mount my custom Moton mounting brackets in a Gen IV engine bay. I am preparing my second production run and interested in hearing from Mark about any tweaks for better fitment if there is. Also interested to hear from others running Motons who would be interested in a set.

I can do custom powder coating, polishing, and custom engraving.

Here are a few picks Mark posted as well as some pics of the setup. The rear brackets will mount to the trunk rear bulkhead with a hidden sockethead screw for each. It is a simple DIY install. I provide everything you need.

Post here or send me a pm anytime. Mark also has sets available at Woodhouse if they are doing an install for you.

You can check out Mark's post here.

Some additional Pics to show the rears and mounting hardware. Not the best pics but you get the idea.

Nader;

Is there no way to mount these Motons, front and back where there is absolutely no drilling and maybe mounted to where an existing bolt can be used. I have seen a number of guys mount the rear canisters in the back, drilling holes, cutting up the carpets, etc. I don't want to do that when I purchase mine. Just 100% bolt on, if that is possible. Just curious!

Unfortunately I dont think it is possible. But consider this - the rears mount with one bolt each and the j-nut that holds each is simply inserted through a small hole cut into bulkhead. As for the rug two small cuts with a razor is enough for the nut to pass through. Very minor work at the end of the day. Keep in mind there has to be some drilling and cutting just to get the Moton cannisters in the trunk.

This is a DIY with nothing compromised at all.

Just an update - for all those who have ordered brackets for the 08s, they are in production now and will be done in the next two weeks. For those who ordered brackets for 03-06's the brackets they just shipped.

This next line of production will feature some additional finishes and enhancements.

Anyone else interested, contact me at your convenience.

Guys production of the new 08 brackets is just about done. This time I changed around the final finish to produce a better, more consistent luster and also beveled the edges a bit. The difference in the 08 brackets is a 1/4 offset to accommodate the different mounting point and keep them away from the radiator hose.

I will also have a run of black anodized done this run again and the first set goes to Mark for all his help.

They are going quick. Let me know if you are interested.

New brackets in for 08's anodized black.

Brackets keep getting better - polished hardware, brass cylinder nut, Chamfered edges. This is the nicest set yet. I may go black now...

Here you can see the new offset for the 08. Not the best pic but you can see the 1/4 in offset from the 03-06 bracket above.

Yeah,

I just pulled the fender liners to mount mine. Easy to do.

Brackets work well and look great.

Tom. Your brackets on my Gen3 look great. People that don't know what the Motons w/brackets are. Some kind of disposable NOS canister. Hopefully Santa will bring a Moton setup for the 08' so save me a set!
