To take the grille out, use a putty knife. Start at one end where you can get under the grille, slide the knife along one side and the grille will peel right out. I really is much easier then you think it will be. When you remove the scrrews, be sure to stuff paper towels into the defroster vent tubes to prevent a screw from falling into a tube. The defroster vent assembly takes a little maneuvering to remove, but is not difficult. Again, be careful and do not drop a screw when reassembling.
