I have to apologize to big brake Dave as this post is LONG overdue. I started a write up about a SS brake line install this morning and realized I completely forget to thank the man that bailed me out of a mess.
About a month ago, I undertook a stainless steel brake line upgrade and ran into a few snags...actually more like roadblocks. It was a Sunday and I was at my wits end trying to get these lines to fit properly and I asked for some help here. Within an hour, I get a call from California it was none other than Dave himself.
He spent an hour explaining to me why I had all of these fitments issues with the lines I was using but also gave me workarounds to complete the install. I was floored that Dave called me on a Sunday afternoon and guided me through my mess because these SS lines weren't even his! They came from one his competitors. Dave took the time to call me on his day off and guide me though his competitor's product installation.
But after getting an education from Dave that day I decided to ditch the POS lines and buy a set of his SS brake lines which are superior to what I was using. He had already solved for the issues I was facing with Brand X not to mention the fact that he actually uses his products on his Viper.
Thank you Dave, its long overdue. I appreciate your time and detailed explanations. It sure as heck beats the "Brand X is sh*t" explanations I get from other vendors. But most of all, Dave is one the modest people I know and is a pleasure to do business with. I will post the write up this week. - Tony
