Did a search but didn't really turn up much. I am going to be changing out my fluids on my car soon and was going to get the Mobil 1 75/140 rear end fluid with the Mopar additive. On the tranny, I was thinking about putting in royal purple syncromesh.
My question is, are these fluids okay to use in place of the mopar and castrol syntorque? If not, no big deal I can just go to the Dodge dealership and pick up the stuff my service manual calls for. I had syncromesh in my 2001 Vette's tranny (540RWHP/455RWTQ) and really liked it. The car is a 1999 GTS, stock tranny, stock diff. Thanks for any help!
