Door Popper Won\'t Open Doors on 93 Viper!!! UGHHHHHHHHHHHHH

Installed 15# door popers as directed in the illustrated upgrades.

Got power to the poppers
Good solid ground
working poppers via the remote

But when the popper pulls back on the pull point, the pull point has about an inch of slack in the mechanism befor opening the door. I believe the popper either does not have the pull distance or the strength to open the door. Any advice would be welcomed. This is a '93 car and the shoulder harness assembly does not come out to mount the popper. The pull point does not have a factory location to mount the pull wire. I'm currently just pulling on the mechanism.

At this point, I can't figure it out and I think I've mounted the gosh D*&# things incorrectly.

This upgrade is on the 12th hour!

I did my 96 mounting the popper on the back of the box where the lower shoulder harness reel is. Could be it is just at a bad angle, good luck with it tomorrow.

Sorry but no pull point on the bottom of the mechanism to attach to. Only a single pull point where the door handle is currently attached. Any suggestions?

Look at the red area on your picture, this is where I mounted mine(the backside of the box). I only mounted mine on the driveside, so the passenger side might be different.

Ivory and I have been solving the installation problem. It must be mounted like 96 R/T 10 suggested. Should now be resolved.
