G'day Mates,

Trying to get everything in place to got to Viper Days in Dallas. I don't have a hardtop so I am in contact with Autoform about renting one from them ($175.00). They said "It will require us to drill 3 hole on each side of the car under the hood in the sheet metal just below the cowl line"-- Will these be noticeable afterwards? I guess I'm just stupid but I don't understand why this would need to be done  .

I believe the Autoform top has arms that go all the way down the windshield pillar. It must need an attachment point down there.

If it's what I saw, they are out of sight with the hood closed. They have to attach a bracket so the cable to the roof legs that run down the A-pillars has something to hold on to.
