Driving without side sill covers..... Quick ?

I need to take my Viper to my buddies shop for a clear bra and I currently have the side sill covers @ the paint shop for a re-spray. Will I cook the hood or anything around the Hi-flows from driving without the covers? Need to know a definite answer as I don't want to bake the hood of course. Thanks in advance!

I did this exact thing when I removed mine for metal cat installation, so I had the OEM 'infernos' in place, didn't have an issue. I'd recommend that you keep moving though!

I did this while the side sill was being repainted, you have to really watch your leg to avoid getting burned but otherwise it worked out fine.

I too have taken my car out for a quick 10 mile run to check for leaks after removing the cats

I took mine off & drove to the muffler shop ( about 10 miles) to get my HF Cats installed. No Problems!

You could always take the hood off with the help of a friend. 4 bolts.
