Dying to get my 08. Any Update?

OK, Im chompin at the bit waiting for my black 08 Viper. Dealer doesnt seem to know when they will be built. Is there anybody "in the know" about the production schedule?

I don't know about So Cal, but I saw a beautiful blue one around the corner from my office on Sunday. I'm still waiting on mine, any day now....

Black was suppose to be made in Jan from what I've heard.

Here is what Bill Pemberton, of Woodhouse, posted on Jan 12th:

Black is starting this month, so the answer that was asked about Black Vipers, is no, none are in Dealer's hands at present. We have some that have started production , so I would anticipate later in February for the dark serpents to appear!

There were at least a dozen black convertibles finished at CAAP when we visited the plant last Friday.There were no black Vipers at Prefix. No coupes have been run yet, and most if not all cars on the line were Venom Red. I would guess they will finish the last of the Venom Red, SSG and GTS Blue coupes which were delayed before continuing with the black.
