Ebay alert, Roe s/c sys.

Watch out for this one, just came up but was 'sold' a couple of weeks ago. Something fishy going on.

I think the guy really owns it. But, this is the third time around on E-bay with what I bet is a "little help" from his buddies. Wasn't this on a NY VCA memeber's RT10 that was recently sold?

Nevertheless, if he's sold it on the 'bay, he shouldn't be relisting it. This guy told me in an e-mail that he would not allow someone to come and view the item, or pick it up if I won the auction (as he would not ship it across the border) nor would he tell me where it came from. He is up to something, I'm not sure what, but I'll leave that to eBay to figure out.

yes its my old S/C. i sold it to a guy on Long island. he was unsure when buying it and installing it and i guess he never installed it. hes one of those viper owners that doesnt drive their cars and is worried about putting it on the street. S/C worked great when i sold it to him so im sure its in the same condition. atleast he is selling it for what he paid for it.

I got a similiar response from him when I asked about the last auction. I even offered to drive over the border with cash in hand but he never replied back.

Here's a thought, maybe the wife wants it out of there, he doesn't, so he puts it up for sale..."sorry, honey, I can't seem to sell it." Who knows. If the guy were a member here, and it was for sale in the classifieds, how long would it last? A week?

He actually called me back about the Roe. Blocked caller ID, no number, cash, still didn't give me his name...you can sure pick 'em Dimitrios . I'm going to try to see him in person and inspect the SC. If I can get pics, I'll post 'em.

A few things....do you actually have a phone number? A name? I haven't checked my cell yet but hopefully you left a message with a phone number. Second, please send me some pics. It's difficult to talk money if I can't see what I'm buying. If the pics back up your description of the item then I'd be more than happy to come out to NY and inspect it personally with cash in hand. As I said earlier, my wife isn't too happy about my purchases lately...I just installed a complete Belanger system (headers, cats, catback).
