Engine code Question

My car is throwing code P1196. Can any one tell me what this is and if so what I will have to do to correct it?

<u>Probably</u> replace O2 sensor 2/1 (bank 2, upstream sensor). it is a slow response code during the cat monitor.

I have 02 sims. Could it be one of those? Will my A/F be in danger if I drive the car? Thanks for the info.

Here is what I found, more or less agrees with a-mechanic:

"Front H02S-Bank 2 Sensor 2 Bank 2 Slow Response"

A/F not in danger from rear sims or sensors.
