Thanks for all the replies. "Toms03Viper" has a ring to it! I am just in love with this thing. He never opened the hood because it was only taken in once for an oil change. He only drove 900 miles in four years so one oil change in 900 miles seems fine to me. I will make a point of getting all the fluids changed. I have read alot on this forum about going to a 10W-50W synthetic. any thoughts? :dunno: Also is everyone using synthetic in the trany or rear ends?

You should change the oil at least once a year, even if you do not drive the car.
Makes me wonder how the other fluids look!

Especially if you don't drive the car. Condensation can dilute oil. I STILL cant believe someone who is an enthusiast enought to own a Viper NEVER even took a look at the engine? No one ELSE ever asked to see it when he took it somewhere? Now I've heard everything!
