I have never owned a Viper before and dont know anyone who has so cant ask anyone else. Are all Vipers kinda noisey inside? I mean a little tranny noise, rearend whine, and when pulling out slow a clunking noise in the rear when the car jerks a little it doesnt clunk when I take off with a little more throttle. The car works great and only has 180 miles, just trying to be sure nothing is wrong. I trust your opinions more than the dealers , half of them never drove or worked on a Viper you guys do all the time. Thanks .........Brian

Even the clunking rearend? I hope so , maybe I am being too gentle on take offs sometimes.

Yes, my rear end has clunked since day one. At first I worried that something would break, but it hasn't.

Noisey is relative.

My '04 is silent compared to my '69 Corvette with factory side pipes.

Sounds normal. Your are sitting fairly close to everything, engine, trans, driveshaft and diff.

Noise is really relative. My SRT is very quiet compared to my 650 GTS / ACR. They both scream with the hammer down.

Enjoy!
