Florida V- 10 Nationals Hotel is the Hampton Inn

I went to the Hampton Inn www.HamptonInnbradenton.com today and meet with the hotel manager. It is a 15 minute ride to Bradenton motorsports Dragstrip www.bradentonmotorsports.com This hotel is aprox 2-3 years old and has 116 rooms(4 are Jazacui Suites).

They have high speed internet acess at no additional charge... to keep everyone updated with that day's results. Complementary deluxe breakfast bar is included at no additional cost.

Room service is provided by Ruby's Tuesday www.rubytuesday.com(next door), they will also do food services delivered to the heated pool. Next door is a Outlet mall for any of the wives that need to catch up on the shopping. The state of the art exercise facility is inside the ice skating rink(J.P.Igloo)which is also next door. Within J.P.Igloo www.jpigloo.com is a sports bar/restaurant Beef O' Brady's. www.beefobradys.com

Within a 20 minute drive is 30 golf courses and 30-45 minute drive the Bradenton/Sarasota Gulf beaches for scuba diving, deep sea fishing, jet skiing, para-sailing.

We are are in negations to get a special group rate prices will hopefully be posted tomorrow. I would not delay in making reservations because this is the height of our tourist season and things book up fast. THIS THE NICEST HOTEL CLOSTEST TO THE TRACK. When making the reservations ask for the "Viper V-10 Nationals Rate".

Hampton Inn is located at I-75 and US 301, this is 1 exit north of SR 64 (Bradenton motorsports drag strip exit)

I have never been to these areas, so I am going to ask. Is this hotel close to where all the typical night life is?

I for one would rather drive a bit further to the race track (sober), and be walking distance to all the night fun (maybe not so sober.)

There is lots to do in Bradenton/Sarasota area,it has lots of bars, 3 ******* bars (Cheetahs has BEAUTIFUL women...other 2 typical ******* clubs) Sarasota is the home for the rich and famous and is voted in the TOP 50 places to live within the US. There is plenty to do there!!!!

Tampa(30- 40 minutes from Hotel),has lots to do as well. Chuck Babel and Gerald will be incharge of the entertainment in Tampa.

Do a search for Longboat Key, Seista Key, Bradenton Beach, Anna Maria, Homes Beach..... these are all close beaches to Bradenton/Sarasota area.

Yeah Im going. Car is at Scotts at elite in Tampa. I wish It was done by then, that way Id pick it up and drive to Florida V-10 Nationals.

New pistons, cam, clever tuning for the blower I installed and chrome all over the place.

Where are you in Ohio?

SapphireGTS, same boat, larry is on a tight schedule, the motor will be at the machine shop the next two weeks, will it be done in time? Don't know yet, if so, I will go down and pick it up and then head to Bradenton.

What's the spectator fee? There are some future Viper owners in the area that would like to come watch.

Chuck..... not for sure ....but it will be CHEAP.I think $5 to $10. ,maybe $15. But I think $10.00, but will have check into.

Doing WHOLE event(Track rental) at our cost. David and myself are donating our time!

Bradenton Motorsports will do an outstanding job of prep. and being Viper friendly.....Chris Napatino ran a 10.57 with NO roll bar and had many 10 sec runs after. Gainesville or Orlando first 10 sec pass, he would be kicked off the track. DO NOT take me wrong they are very safety oriented .....ie: helmets, EMTs at track, etc.

Hotel manager is Pamela Lucus. I also called tonight, the woman spoke to could not get into the appropriate screen to look to see what was open. I have left a message for hotel manager to call me in the morning. We will get situation straighten out ASAP.
