Fluid from my Tranny

My 1995 with 68K just developed a leak coming from the center of the bell housing. Its from the hydraulic clutch. I checked where the line from the clutch master goes into the tranny case and its dry there. Is there a magic solution here or is this remove the tranny and replace something?

There is a slave cylinder too. If the slave is leaking then yes, you will need to remove the tranny.

I've got a complete DIY with pics at VA on tranny R&R for the Gen 2. Shouldn't be much different than a Gen 1 if you're going to tackle this yourself.

If the tranny's coming out, look at your rear crank seal too.
And your pilot bearing.
