Can the fuel filter be changed on the SRT - if so, how often and where is it located? Is it in the fuel tank?
Also how often should the rear diff fluid be changed?
Thanks

I would change the fuel filter now as the Viper spends alot of time in storage over the winters and the fuel system needs to be maintained, cheap insurance. The rear diff fluid shoud be checked at each oil change and needs to maintained more often than others because of the heat associated with 500 ft pounds of torque. If it has not been changed recently I would also recommend this be changed.

No drain plug, you can **** out the old fluid although the best way is to remove diff and drill it to install a plug. We provide this service with the fluid change in our shop.

The recommended service interval for is every three oil oil changes. I do not make short trips (all over 10 miles each) so that works out to 18000 miles for me. According to my service manual there should be a drain plug. I will know in a few months when my car turns 18000 miles.
