As none of you probably know, me and a freind went to Destin, FL for a few days this week. On our 1st night, we went to this mall. Its the strip type mall where you can drive thru the center and parallel park in front of the stores or park in the big parking lot out back. We lucked up and got a parking place outside a store, and decided just to walk around some and babe hunt :D We walked out of 1 of the stores and noticed some kid and his mom looking at my car. No big deal. 15-20 mins later, we notice the same kid has dragged his mom back to the Viper. I figure he must be a real Viper fan, so I walk over and offer to pop the hood and let him sit in it. His mom takes a photo with their camera phone and then some other kid showed up with his parents, so he did the same thing. About 15 mins later, there was a line of atleast 10-15 people waiting just to sit in the car and have their photo taken! One kid asked me if the car was loud and I told him I'd crank it up for him. When I got in the car, you could hear the people in line saying "ohhhh he's gonna crank it up!" I cranked it up and revved it to about 5000RPM. The noise bounced off the buildings and sounded incredible. The noise attracted more attention and the line grew even longer. I was opening and closing the door and being cameraman for people while my friend was handling the "what year? how fast?", etc. questions. It was such a wide variety of people who wanted a photo in it. Young kids, guys my age (20's), some hot girls ( :D ) and even some old people (you know, like 40..lol). I know at least one person went into one of the stores and bought a disposable camera just to have a Viper photo. Its really amazing how these cars just dont age. I'm not even sure some people believed me when they heard it was a 96' :D

The Viper is a rolling car show all by itself! Glad you had fun with it, letting people experience the car instead of just looking at it! :2tu:

That was a great story. These cars are just conversation pieces in their own. Which Maserati? Two door or four?

I'm not sure which Maserati, but it was a two door if that tells you anything. They left about the same time we did. It was a woman driving and a guy shotgun. We also saw a Ferrari F430 spider one night w/a woman driving and a guy shotgun. Chicks driving exotics =

One man car show?

That’s what I mean when I talk about “best bang for your buck” in the Viper. What other car can draws a crowd as quick as a Viper?

Just try and keep it up in Georgia. We’re very territorial here in Florida:)

That is neat. I always laugh when I see women driving exotics because I just say, IT IS ABOUT TIME! When I first met my girlfriend she was not really into cars and now, she is very motivated to get her own. Currently she wants the Maserati Grand Sport Spyder:
