Gen 2 rear bulkhead panel in Gen1?

Will a Gen2 rear bulkhead panel with glove compartment fit in a gen1 car?

Having had a Gen 1 panel off to replace speakers and install 5-point seat belts, I would guess yes, as long as the Gen 2 parts you have include the structure to support the new panel where your elbow would hit. The speaker box in Gen 1 does this, there are some parts behind the Gen 2 panel. Go here and download the 92-96 parts manual and compare.
