Gen 4 or Gen 5

I'm finally in a position to purchase a Viper.

My dealership has two of them in stock.
A gen 4 and a gen 5. Both have just slightly under 10 000 miles. Both are completely stock. The gen 4 is an ACR. The gen 5 is $21000 more.

I'm leaning towards the gen 4 because I prefer more raw. I have a test drive scheduled for a different gen 5 later this month. I know the Viper is massive overkill for the street but it's the car I've always wanted.

Wanted to get input before making a decision.

Well new owner myself here. I just bought a gen 5 myself. I know my dealership i bought from in Chicago said I t was stock but I quickly learned it is not, I have K & N intake as well as American racing headers and exhaust. So definitely give them a good look over. But my humble opinion is love my gen 5. I love the look of the 5 over the 4 as the 4 to me almost looks like a vet to me. Just my opinion. Hope it helps some?

If it was Gen 4 vs 5, I’d go Gen 5 but Gen 4 ACR vs basic Gen 5? Gen 4 ACR allll the way, its such a special car that the market is sleeping on….for now
