I'm curious if anyone on here has done anything to really help the Gen 2 breathe. I'm looking to do some high level mods that are straight forward and simple first like the smooth tubes and K&N filters. Is this modification generally supported and considered a good thing for performance? Does the stock intake box breathe as well as it should or are there things that can be done to allow even more airflow?
I'm really just looking for general guidance on some of the best ways to get bang for the buck starting out.
I currently have high flow cats and the corsa cat back exhaust on it. I'm considering headers as well of course. If anyone is selling some headers (new or lightly used) I'm open to throwing those on as well to help on the downstream side. Am I restricting myself much by keeping the stock exhaust from cats forward?
Guidance on some of the easy performance improvements would be great.
I'm also considering throwing in the 355 gears in the back for that extra kick in the pants feel.
