hello everyone, I have searched the threads to try and find the issue I am having but can’t find anything. I recently purchased the Belanger exhaust with the high flow cats, stock exhaust manifolds. Belanger says the exhaust tip should sit slightly forward of center to allow for expansion. My problem is that the tips are touching the back of the exit hole. I have tried everything to try and get them to fit properly and have had no luck. I did send a message to Belanger, but I thought maybe someone here has experienced this issue. Thank you as always!

I have Belanger and corsa. I think I put a piece of paper over the side sill hole and marked the hole and taped it to the door sill and then did all the fitting of the pipes so they were perfect to prevent multiple on-off of the side sill for fitment. Also I measured from the ground with a tape I think other times to make sure the tip was rotated up in the right spot. I had to eventually tack weld a spot on the driver side where the elbow and corsa met so it wouldn't rotate down and keep the tip from hitting against the side sill hole. That was a pain and I hated hearing it tap the side sill when the engine was running. Since then I’ve had no problems.

Thanks for the replies. The problem I was having was not up and down but left and right. After adjusting the fitment several times with no luck, I did some more research. The Viper Store has some more in depth installation instructions, and they mention that the tips may need to be cut to fit some Vipers. I had to trim an inch off both tips to get them to fit properly. After getting the tips set in the hole properly, my next issue was the left side stuck out more than the right. In order to get the left side to sit flush, I had to “manipulate” the hanger rod so the tip would set back more. It was an adventure, but I got it done and it sounds nasty…in a good way. I did the three inch system with the high flow cats.

Apparently the rear most hanger can be used to center the tip in the exit hole... https://youtu.be/HXlt4MQsDg0?t=585
I am thinking about doing exhaust on my Gen 3 just not sure if I want to do cat back or the entire system. What did you do?
I did the entire exhaust with no regrets. I actually had the cats removed because it wasn’t loud enough for me. I absolutely love it.

I ended up having Belangers do a custom full exhaust for my Gen 4 as well. Both cars sound amazing
