Cutting my cats off and glanced at my mufflers. Decided to take them off as well. STRAIGHT PIPE is a little loud LOL. Don't know if I will leave it that way. Will have to see what the fiancé' says.

Some of my buddies say I should put glass packs on. Don't know if that would be right to put glass packs on a Viper. But I am from Kansas. Anyone tried that?

Also any guesses on the HP gain? Has to be at least as much as headers 40-50HP ????

40-50hp increase with headers?! Where can I get a set? Sorry to say but headers do not give you that much hp gains.

You probably gained about 25 hp. I had glass-packs on mine, sounded good I thought! took them off and fabbed a 3 inch exhaust with dyno-max muffs!!!!!
Wifey thinks it's a little loud but I din't thinks so.
The G.P.'s were quieter.

A set of Roe Racings Oval Cats with the muffler delete is perfect, you'll love the sound.

Here is a pic of my cats. That’s got to be worth at least 35HP.. There are some in this forum have said that there is at least 50hp ******* in exhaust in GEN Is. I hope I found some of it......oh well if not I lost 80 or so pounds.

Removing that soda can added at least 5 HP. Those are a real bottleneck in your exhaust.

Thats not what they said in the Honda forum it adds at least 15hp
