Got my custom hoodpad from VenomBlue550 - IT\'S KILLER!

Opened the HUGE box today, and it's just perfect! Paint work is awesome, no bends, no creases, just perfect!

For any of you have already done this, How the h#!! do I get it on?

I'm afraid to pull to ******* the flat t-handle looking black plastic do-dads. I'm not sure if they will break or if they will go back and still hold tight or not.

Should I have gotten new tabs with the pad? Do I need new tabs or not? If I need new ones what should I expect to pay for them?

You're gonna break a few, unless you are really really careful. Even then you might break a few. Best to order new ones. I got mine from Jon B. Not too expensive.

you need this speiacl V tool to remove all the clips, and you are gonna break a few of them, but no big deal, you don't really need all of them to hold the new pad on, i mean there are total of 19 clips, we normal just reuse about 10-12, and they stay in place just PERFECT...thanks

PEP-BOYS sells the exact same clip 3 or 4 in a pack for $2-$3.

Congrats, the pads are awesome! Chuck Tator has the clips in stock too. I just replaced all of mine.

Got mine today, and the paint work is awesome(great job by venomblue) except for the upper left corner where the morons here cramed the box in to a van and ripped the corner of the pad. I think I can fix it with tape from the hood side.

JWVIPER.....check with ur house....the box is there...

BAck from business trip and there was a huge box waiting, brought it over to friends body shop and he had it on in 15 minutes. Looks great. Order new clips is the best route to go. Their cheap and snap in real easy as opposed to the old ones. Love the red eye on the Yellow, How do you keep the hood up while driving around though ????
