I don't see it that way, " a plan for 2016 that reduces the power of all GT3 cars by 10 percent. There will be more aero restrictions as well, such as a higher ride height and a ban on extreme tire compounds.", 10% power reduction yes and tire compound yes, but aero restrictions and even ride height seem to be targeting the ACR - E.

Yes, but the ACR-E doesn't run in the GT3 class, that's the GT3R that Ben Keating runs and other privateers. That is a spec race car with a cage and sequential transmission built in. The ACR-E is still ultimately a street car and track toy, it isn't really restricted by any kind of class as it doesn't race in one.
