guys, tell me how to get to the headlight(bulb)...

so i got this hid kit and i cant get to the headlights, not that i tried but i did glance it over. i know ive seen pics before but i cant remember the guys name. if i remember correctly, you have to take off all sorts of stuff. help is gratefully appreciated! thanks

Remove the front section of the splash shield held on with 3 or 4 plastic nuts and 3 or 4 bolts.

remove back of headlamp housing held on with wing nuts.

It really is. I replaced both of my headlight bulbs and used the shop manual to walk through the process. It's just like Ulysses says....

Word of pre-caution: On mine, there is some sort of foam gasket to seal the headlight housing and backing plate. For some reason (old age?), the gasket essentially fused the housing and backing plate together, making it nearly impossible to remove. I was scared to pry too hard, as the backing plate is plastic and doesn't appear too sturdy. I ended up using a pick to run along the gasket channel in order to break the seal after prying one corner loose.
