Has anybody fit a Gen2 seat into a Gen3 car?

I've had my new Copperhead for a couple months now, and I find the newer seatbacks to be very narrow and uncomfortable compared to my '02 GTS. I was hoping that the side bolster would soften up a bit as time went on so that it wouldn't dig into my shoulder blades so much. It hasn't, and I am thinking of switching out the SRT seat for a GTS/RT10 seat.

I heard back from some SRT people, and they let me know that it would not be a simple "drop in" exchange, so I was wondering if anyone has tried to switch one out yet??
