I haven’t done it yet but I curse myself when ever I come close. When having to always use the key fob to unlock the doors or open the trunk, if you have something in your other hand, you have to use the hand you're holding the keys in to “ push in the door handle” or “pull open the trunk”.

I just keep thinking one of these days.................... :curse:

I did that in my Escalade a while back. Sucked, but buffed it out pretty good! :D

I haven't opened any door with my keys in hand since! :2tu:

I have had the key fob in my hand to open the trunk-
almost got it three or four times.
You would think I would learn.

To add to the wonderful questions, has anyone chipped the plastic on the top of the windshield by closing the top while the latch was in the down position???

Did that within a week of owning the car.

I've never keyed mine, but I did once slash all four of my tires and smashed my headlights in a fit of vehicular munchausen syndrome.

Great question.Yes I have done just that. Adding aluminum or carbon fiber side sill protectors dresses up this area and keeps the paint nice and new. ZAF has some nice ones.
