Has anyone ever passed emissions without cats?

I was curious, I'm running without cats with a full belanger exhaust. I have never thrown an O2 code and I still have all of my sensors in (no sims). I have heard that some genII's don't throw O2 codes. I do still have my high flows in my tool-box but If I don't have to put them back on I'd rather not.

Wow, you are lucky... mine threw a code instantly without the sims. I've since gone back and put in hi flows and my sensors.

Go ahead and try to pass... don't you get a free second-chance retest?

In Illinois, they scan OBDII. If everything's normal, you're on your way. If not, they put you on the dyno and do the sniffer test.

I would plug in a scan tool before you go just to make SURE you have no codes.

Yeah. In NJ you pass whether they are there are not. They say since they can not see behind the side sills (without taking them off), they must be there. This was an order from the Dept. of motor vehicles, which is pretty cool.
