Hello all,

I am installing a set of Billy boat hedders on my 97 GTS. What gaskets are you using? I have a set of stock metal ones. I noticed that the header is round and the stock gasket are half round ish. Also what bolts do you recommend? Do I use stock or is their a part# for a ARP or equivalent.

Thank you for your guys help!!!

I'd always recommend the stainless metal style gaskets with the crush ridges in them. They will put up with heat way better than any composite gasket. You might lay the gaskets over the headers just to make sure they cover the sealing bead at least. Not as big of an issue on the exhaust side if the header is bigger than the port, though always better for them to match as close as you can get them.

You have an older set of headers. The stock OEM gaskets are your best bet, which conform with the head design.

ARP is always a winner, but any good stainless will do the job. Just make sure to use Anti-seize on them
