I followed the advice given on this site and confirmed that I have a bad heater coil. Also, the foam gasket on top of the coil is shreaded. I have the Dodge paper service manual for the 1997 GTS, but the procedure for removing the coil is unclear. It appears to say that the coil is removed from the top after removing the heater housing. Is this correct, or is it taken out another way. Thanks in advance for the advice.
