Not overly familiar and I have never rented from U Haul, I have seen them and I think one problem you may really have is the loading, they seem rather steep on the ramps and also seems that there is a center curbing to keep the wheels in the tracks, not sure if this would scrap the bottom of the car ?? You have to check.....the good way to load a car is to find a low spot in either your driveway or the nearest parking lot, put the trailer down in this lower spot to lower the trailer bed closer to the ground BUT be very careful to always load the trailer as if you are going UPHILL or the car will roll forward and cause damage...the other thing to be careful of is if you do MAKE sure the car is very tightly winched down with very strong straps because I think these trailers use surge brakes and will really be putting a lot of movement on the car on the trailer !! Very hard to even get someone to loan you a trailer BECAUSE there are so many things that can happen and unless the towee has a lot of knowledge/experience a lot of bad things can cause some quick damage as well as making sure you have some insurance coverage in case of a really bad incident !! Sorry to ramble on but care cannot be over stressed, don't be rambunctious and say I KNOW what to do, towing a car can be a humbling experience especially when doing 60 MPH and a guy cuts right in front of you and gets off the exit while you lock up the brakes and hope for the best !! Just my $.02
