Help! easy way to add wideban sensor

What is the easiest way to add a wide ban sensor for A/f reader? (for a 97GTS )Can you use any of the present o2 senser locations? Can you remove any of the rear o2 sensors and use those **** holes. Does the car need the 4 o2 sensors? Looking to install a A/F reader to help tune the Roe S/c without going to a dyno. I'm am trying to keep it as simple as possible!

Unfortunately there is no easy way to do it - I tried
You cannot replace any of the stock sensors because the PCM doesn't understand the wideband signal.

You'll have to mount a **** in your exh syst for the additional sensor.

Not entirely true. You can just pull your rear 02s out, but leave them plugged in, and the PCM will not care. Only on 97s though. I beleive on 98 and up, you would need an 02 sim to do that. Also, the reading would only be accurate if you dont have cats, other wise you would need to put the WB senson before the cats. In which case you would need to add a ****.

My AEM sideband instructions said, "more than 36" away from engine to prevent premature failure due to heat from extended rpms or turbochargers(supercharger). It also required that the Bosche sensor be mounted 10 degrees above vertical to prevent failure due to water vapor during warm up cycle. I mounted mine in the elbow behind the side sill, like the Illustrated guide shows.

You're going to have to get a **** welded into the downpipe before the cat converter. You do not want the WB sensor as far downstream as the secondary 02s and you need your primary 02s for proper function.

The General has it right also.
In place of a downstream sensor is fine. Just use a simm (full time or part time) on the newer cars.

When you go to a dyno, a LOT of them put a hose in the tailpipe, which then goes through another hose to a sensor. That's really delayed, but still works well. You just have to have a handle on the lag time. It's about 250-300 RPM at low RPM's and about 150 up top.
Reading post cat reads about .2 to .3 leaner than before it.
Just know these simple facts and you can save yourself the time of adding a **** if your sensor will be temporary.

I had Lou Belanger add a "****" on one side for my Innovate Wideband Sensor, on the "turn" of the exhaust that he built for my car, along with the headers......works great.
