I am installing a Roe SC on my 2000 ACR Viper.
I ran into an unusual problem.
The drive belt is not fitting on my car because I don't have the AC compressor.
Sean is looking for a solution ... and I am so.

Is there somebody who is running a Roe SC without AC compressor ?

Where did you get the drive belt for your Viper ?

Or how did you get around the problem ?

Is there somebody with an unwanted AC compressor which has a perfect pulley and a clutch ? I might be interested in buying it.

When at my local auto supply looking for a shorter belt on my '94RT/10 years ago, I found out that belt length is usually indicated in the last digits of the belt part number stamped on the belt. At least it was for the particular brand of belts I was looking at. If your local auto supply can look up the part numbers for 2000 Vipers with and w/o AC you'll know the difference in length by subtracting the lengths shown on the part numbers. Subtracting that difference from the known length of Sean's belt should get you the correct length for your application...

That might be easier than looping a string or something around all your pulleys to try and come up with a measurement.

You should be able to go back and forth to the auto supply and exchange belts you're test fitting .

Yes the problem is that I don't have the lenght of the belt with AC.

The original belt lenght is 1970mm with out AC.

Can somebody check me the lenght of the original belt with AC ?

2405mm / 95" without A/C.
The stock non A/C belt is 87 mm shorter than the stock A/C belt.
Andkovacs called me on mobile last night at 8PM and I couldn't get him the correct # until I came into the shop this morning. He's at a parts store now and they have the belt in stock.

Finding his engine was missing the crankshaft bolt when he went to pin it was an interesting story. Dodge, please use left hand threads on the 2005 Vipers.

THANKS SEAN !
You called me at the right time.
I was in my local part store.
I have the belt. Part Number is: Gates K060950.

The only thing missing is this stupid bolt :)
Otherwise everything is going fine.

Thanks again Sean, Andras
