hey guys,

recently had my B&B headers, ROE OVAL CATS and B&B cat back installed and they sound great and car moves alot quicker with the tap of the gas. the right cat at idle hit the side sill at first and made a rattle noise. now the right side stopped and the left side is making the rattle noise on the side sill. is this because they are oval and are wider taking up more space? would the random tech type be better and have no rattle on side sill? is there a sound difference with the RANDOM TECH? feeback would be greatly appreciated. i need to fix this ASAP cause its annoying!!!!

No way dimitrios. I have pretty much the same setup. No rattles. Has to be something else.

Check to make sure the screws haven't fallen out of the sidesills. I had a rattle after changing exhaust parts and have had screws fall out even after going to a larger screw.

I still maintain that the best cats are the stock ones opened to three inch diameter by cutting off the tapered ends. I have these with JetHot 2000 coating and they work very well. This with the Borla cat back system makes for a great sound.
