Hi-Performance Mopar ECU on 02 ACR

I have been using the Mopar Hi-Performance ECU for 2 years now and i have found that it does run way too rich. I notice that my oil has to be chnaged more frequently as it turns black very quickly. i also notice that my oil smells quite a bit of gas. I am concerned that this will prmaturely wear out my piston rings. Does anyone have any input as to how i can stop this if at all or whether it is not something to be worried about because it will not do any harm to the engine.

You should have you oil analyzed. I send mine to Blackstone Labs. They can tell you a lot about your engine and whether your oil has excess fuel dissolved in it or not. Best $20 I have spent. You can call them for a free sample container. Send them a sample and in about a week you'll have your answer.

Oil Analysis
