I see there is one on Ebay with a VIN of 400341.
The 12th digit in the VIN is significant. For the dealer cars, it is 1. The last of that group will end at 49. For the red SRT cars(which are all equiped exactly the same---not Jack B's car), the 12th digit is 2. The first car in that group will be 200001 and the last will be 200100. The next group to be built will be the Launch Editions. The first of those will be 300001 and the last will be 300150. The last group to be built are the custom ordered cars. The first will be 400001. We don't know how many will be built, so we don't know the last VIN. Projected build dates are all over the place.....

Interesting, mine ends in 500275. I wonder what that means. It's a Stryker Red, which were appearantly allocated to specific dealers, perhaps that's why the 12th digit is a 5.

Very interesting and the first I have heard this. Perhaps Bill Pemberton will chime in, as I'm sure he would know. Congrats on your new Viper----the Stryker Red is beautiful!

How about:

1. Dealer cars (49 units)

2. Red with track pack (100 units)

3. Launch edition (150 units)

4. Custom orders (*** units) (highest known VIN 400375)

5. All stryker orders (*** units) (highest know VIN 500275) ** this one is conjecture
