Hi,

What's a good starting track pressure for Hoosiers? 305's front and 335s rear x 18. Air temp should be about 90 -94 F. Thanks.

I understand it's really a function of temperature across the tires, which should ideally be within 10 degrees across the tread with the inside being the hottest. The actual pressure resulting in the ideal temperature will very with the car and the track.

Nevertheless, the hot pressure used by many seems to be in the mid- to upper-30 pound range according to the following post. I also note that there is a warning on the side of the VRL Hoosier stating that they should not be inflated above 40 lbs when seating the bead, for whatever that's worth.
