Hello Houston Viper Owners,

We have several events on tap this year and hope you can join us!

**February 17 /B] - Cruise up to TWS for NARRA. Look for an update email on the event by Wednesday, February 6th.*

**March 8 to 10 - Viper Round Up - Previous Round Ups have been 'don't miss' events. Hillside cruises, great meals and other surprises typically await this Austin area annual snake fest.

**March 24 Northside Morning Cruise and Lunch - Details to come. We plan running along many of the great roads north of town and ending the cruise with lunch along Lake Conroe.

**April TBD - Ronald McDonald House Viper Show and Ice Cream Social - * The kids loved the cars last year. We are working on the specific date with the Ronald McDonald Staff and will get it to you asap.

**May 4 - Coffee and Cars, then Cruise to Ben Keating's Shop - * After enjoying some of Houston's finest automobiles we will head out on a destination cruise. Most of you know the 2 time Viper Cup winner and Houston Region member Ben Keating. The owner of Tomball Dodge/Crysler/Jeep as well as many other dealerships throughout Texas has invited us to his place for a late lunch and a look around.

**May 4 and 5 - Keels and Wheels* - Keels and Wheels has once again asked for Viper Owners to present in their prestigious Concours D'Elegance. A specific request for Gen 1 and Gen 2 cars has been made by Keels and Wheels. Be on the look out for additional information from the club if you would like to present this year. Head on out and enjoy the great boats and automobiles while showing your support for fellow Viper owners.

** May 11 - Aeros and Autos* *and the Houston Half Mile - *This is a great static display of multiple types of aircraft and automobiles. If you want to show your car you can register the day of the event. Houston Half Mile details will be forthcoming. The Club plans on spectating and will root on any Viper owners that are participating!

** June 15 - Cruise to the San Jacinto Battleground and USS Texas - *Plans are in the works for a cruise over to this location that lends itself to great photos. While we are there plan on looking around aboard the old battleship and going up in the San Jacinto Monument.

**July 1 to 31 - Submit nominees for Houston VCA officers. Regional Officers serve 2 years. Please volunteer if you have the time and want to contribute to the club.

** July TBD - Viper Tech Session and BBQ- *Come join us as we gather around multiple Viper models to learn more about the car you enjoy so much. Head Viper Technician Morgan Day will join us as the snake charmer in a newly completed *and air conditioned * garagemahal. Cars will go on lifts and we will have multiple generations of Vipers to review. Old school Texas BBQ will be prepared on site by several skilled members. Make sure you thank them!

** August 1 to 31-Slate of club officer nominees will be forwarded to members. Members will have until August 31 to mail in their vote. Results will be forwarded to members on September 15th.

** August 11 - Gunrange and lunch by the Bay - *Members enjoyed the air conditioned indoor gun range in 2012 and the great lunch that followed.
Come join us to shoot off a few or just hang out until we hit a great spot right on the water for lunch.

** September 19 to 22- Zone Rendezvous-* Nothing short of a Viper Owner's Invitational beats a Zone Rendezvous. Tons of Vipers and fun. This year the Mid-South Texas Region will be hosting on the weekend of the ALMS Race. Come see the SRT Vipers in action at The Curcuit of the Americas near Austin. All the regional Presidents in the zone are putting their heads together. We hope to have a Viper Corral and meet and greet with 2 SRT racing teams. Details are of course in the works.

** October TBD - Club Dyno Day at Serious HP - *This event was fantastic last year and the staff over at Serious HP is eager to have us back. We have confirmed the event will be on a Sunday in October running into the early afternoon as last year. We should have a solid date before the Summer rolls around.

** November TBD - Pending possible track day and Autorama participation. More to come.

** December 7 - *This year we are having our Christmas Party a bit earlier and it will be catered at an active member's house. The garage is impressive and their will be plenty of places to park!

***Houston VCA Officers and board members are actively trying to set up some track activities as this email goes out. There are some logistical and insurance issues regarding the National VCA that have complicated our typical procedures. We are working diligently to continue to provide track events in the future.

***On behalf of the other officers and board members that are volunteering their time for the club, we hope you find this year's events fun and look forward to seeing you.

Regards,

Your Houston VCA Board of Directors
