How many 08s will be produced?

1. i've heard 12-1400
2.. ON a recent post a member said his ssg is #713 is in production...does this mean there will be only 700 cars in the remaining 5 colors and we are already halfway into total production?

Ken Bott at CAAP yesterday said 1500 are planned to be built. He also said 1200 were already ordered by dealers. Those numbers include ACRs. They are running coupes again, after the supplier delay involving the rear hatch. We saw quite a few black convertibles, but no black coupes yet. VINs were all over the place. Saw one around 130 and another at 600 even.

Smog Dog has it right. I was told by my dealer that the Coupe models recently had a delay due to issues with hatch part(s) (wasn't told what part or parts specfically)that a vendor was producing and were not up to spec. Vipers are not built in VIN sequence (VIN 250 can get built before VIN 175). My 08 has VIN ending in 525.
