How to adjust the height of my viper ???

[Viper GTS]

I trying to adjust the height of my viper GTS 1997 but i dont know how ?

After installing lowering springing i cant make the car level even after car aliment !

Any tips or Id's

Well i didn't wont to make a big deal or any thing,

But my car has a stock normal suspension but,

I just added some lowering eibach spring and a complete new bushing set because the car to old and handles funny

When i installed every thing and went to the wheel alignment and aligned every thing the height at the back is a

little bit diffrient !!!

So my be there is a way to make it right !

It was fine before i took it a part in installed the springs

What kind of "springing" did you put on the Viper?

What springs did you use to lower the car? Did you adjust the Dampners on the stock Koni's when you had the springs off?

The cheapest way is to install lowering springs. or the real way is coilovers (the best way)

Hopefully the bottom collar on your springs has an adjustable ring.....but please give us more details about what products you used to lower the Beast.

i think you got a point but if there was like a instruction to install it or some pitchers or a way to explain it to the aliment man because they never worked on a car like this before !

Well Mr. DAVE6666 i live in the desert Daaaaaa !

How should any one know how to Aline a viper ! they think it's Batman's car or UFO !

It's a big headache and there's only one or two cars and they never work at all !

I am the only Viper GTS that's still alive and working !

A good start would be to buy yourself a factory service manual, which covers the alignment process in great detail.

As to why your car still sits high, I would bet you the ride height problem is due to not properly ballasting the car and torquing the shocks and wishbone pivots at Design Height. This makes a HUGE difference in handling.

Calm down. Take it as a lesson learned to be more picky about your shops, and learn the procedure yourself before taking it somewhere.

Discuss it with your mechanic and see if he sounds qualified or stupid.

You can do that when you've read the manual first.

I am sorry that if i was rode or some thing ,

But that's was the best shop in the state and the most qualified mechanic ,

They charge $40 for front and rear aliment

All other shop dont wont to accept or receive a viper its a nightmare for them ,

I already ordered the manual it needs a month or so to arrive to Saudi after customes !

Hope i can figer it out that's for all the help
