how to get metal gas cap on

Hi, i got a MGW gas cap, and I cannot get the cap onto the tube. i get it partly on but thats the extent of it. im sure a number of people have done this, but does anyone have any advice?

Are you talking about the actual MGW fuel door enclosure? If so, I got the tube seated into the enclosure as much as possible and then screwed the gas cap on all the way and that pulled the tube up to the correct position.

I ended up getting it on. thanks for the help.

im looking to get new bolts for it. does anyone know the measurements of it?
