Viperholics,

Well, I finally 'bit the bullet'. Put down my deposit on the Roe S/C. I think around 600 RWHP will feed my addiction for many years... hopefully...

Definite HP mods on my 1998 Silver/Blue GTS are:

* Roe S/C with VEC2
* 1.75 Headers
* High-Flow Cats
* 3' Corsa
* Smooth tubes/filters

(Cost about $54 per RWHP - guestimate 160 RWHP total - $8600)
(* Bought exhaust/headers used)

------------------------------------------------------------------

Optional (Still Kick'in around) (Should add another 35 RWHP - give or take)

New Prices
* 1.7 RR ($1000 give or take)
* 70mm Throttle Bodies ($550)
* Larger intake box ($150)
* Larger Smooth tubes ($80)

(Cost about $51 per RWHP - 35 RWHP total - $1780)

------------------------------------------------------------------

Any opinions? Advice?

O.K... Who's gonna sell me some used 70mm throttle bodies - cheap? With intake box and smooth tubes? Come'on, gotta be someone? 1.7rr? Had to ask... Email cheap b*stard at

Sounds like you're a very intelligent man. Anything less the $100 per horsepower is a bargain when it comes to A-Vipering you're A-Going! :cool:

I am doing my deposit on the Roe SC tomorrow. Today is my 40th birthday, and I have decided I am going to buy myself a present. I am going to also add the headers & 1.7 RR to my existing mods for a wild ride. I admit freely that I have been infected with the modification disease. It is a good thing the stock market is in the toilet, or I don't know where the end would be on these mods.

Congrats bro! I'm waiting for mine to get here. Hopefully by the end of March!
I'm sure we'll be very happy with the S/C

Hi Guys,

We should be shipping out about 17 kits next week, with another 16 the following week. We have another 20 blowers coming in the end of March and the balance of the kits should go out shortly thereafter (for those past order #33).

As a friendly reminder, the price of the complete system will increase as of midnight tonight, from $6,995.00 to $7,495.00 (plus S&H).

Best regards,
Sean
