I hit the Magic 25,000 mile mark in Style !!

First of all, I work second shift 'til 2:12am here in Duluth Minnesota.
It was a gorgeous night outside when I got off of work, so I decided to take the GTS out for a ride since the roads are pretty clear of traffic, and whatever. I also noticed that the Odometer was at about 24,996 as I was coming to the long tunnels on I-35 North just before the freeway ends (check your maps). So here I go..........Cranked up Metallica on the CD player, "Enter Sandman" to be exact, and I gradually increased my speed as the 24,999 miles was slipping away from me. As I hit 25,000 I was at a 100mph in a 50 zone ( remember this is Duluth where there is NO traffic at 2:30am ). I kept that speed through the tunnels 'til she rolled over to 25,001

Now I can go on having fun with it, and not worry about my mileage anymore !!
Well, at least not 'til 50k starts creeping up on me

Man, I must have been tired last night while I posted this.

Now I remember..........

I was actually going 57 in a 55mph zone. I would never go more than 5mph over the posted speed limit.

Very liberating! I hit 10,000 (2000 of which are mine). It feels great. I feel a little more like Chuck with every mile.
